The NY Times just called the retro Drake Motor Inn “flawless”
Have you been to the Drake Motor Inn? You know, the little sister of the undoubtedly coolest hotel in the city. She’s retro, she’s nostalgic, and she’s in the gorgeous Prince Edward County. Oh, she’s also “flawlessly executed,” according to the New York Times.
The 12-room motor inn is a stone’s throw from Drake Devonshire, the country living middle child. While the theme is totally retro, there are some awesome modern perks. Keyless, digital self check-in makes for breezy arrivals and bon voyages. Rooms are pet-friendly, and you can even rent a little bed for your pup.

Don’t take it from us, though. The New York Times noticed this sweet holiday spot, and called it “self-consciously whimsical.” They loved the size of the rooms, the art, and the perfect location. Being a block from the shore does sound pretty perfect!
We’re telling you this because we think you deserve a vacation, and we think you deserve one in a super cool spot. Uncovering your city, uncovering your long weekend. We do it all here.
Whatcha think? After a long day running from the beach to craft brewhouse to the farm stand, you can put your feet up in the communal living room. Chill on the outdoor terrace, or next to the firepit. Eat made-from-scratch Drake Commissary snacks and laugh at your friends falling all over the free skating rink.
Vroom vroom, we’re on our way.
