Report: Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews tests positive for COVID-19

According to a story first reported by the Toronto Sun, Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews has tested positive for COVID-19. This comes just hours after the Tampa Bay Lightning closed its training facility due to an outbreak among a few staff and players.

Back to Matthews, though. Apparently, he is now in quarantine at his home in Arizona. He hopes to be able to return to Toronto for the start of training camp at the start of July. However, we are going to wait for an official announcement before further speculation.
