This isolated Quebec Airbnb is straight out of a science-fiction movie
First thing first, imagine we’re out of quarantine and things are kind of back to normal. Next, imagine walking through the nice, scenic woods of Quebec and stumbling upon this. An angular, modern, minimalistic Airbnb that honestly lowkey looks like the perfect setting for a sci-fi flick. Would you think it was an alien settlement? Some tortured, lonely architect’s home? We’re not ruling out either of these options, but we know this stay is one of the most unique designs in Canada.
This chalet sits high on a cliff in Bolton-Ouest, overlooking miles and miles of lush forest and Mount Glen. You haven’t got a neighbour in sight, making it just about the ultimate private getaway. We wouldn’t wanna stroll nude in front of those massive windows any other way.
This home was created by Montreal-based architects Naturehumaine. We’re a happy human in nature out here, indeed.
The chalet features upscale, minimal furnishings, plenty of space for four, and lovely outdoor decks. Our favourite part is definitely the hot tub, which is nestled right at the front of the deck. Pop a bottle of bubbly, watch the stars, and soak away any memory of being anywhere else but this place. At least that’s what we’d do.
Both “halves” of the home feature massic south-facing windows, so you’re exposed to bright sunshine and perfect views both from the kitchen/living space and from the bedroom. Image waking up to nothing but green wilderness… Ah, maybe we need to move out of downtown.
Hike the nearby trails, pop into Lac-Brome for dinner or groceries, or stop by the nearby spa for some relaxation. Then, cap it all off with a glass of wine on the couch, overlooking the valley. Again, just what we’d probably do.
This magnificent Quebec Airbnb is just waiting for you and your hot tub drinks once the quarantine lifts. Our only ask is that we join you there. Cheers!
