Feel like a trip to the Toronto Islands but don’t wanna brave a ferry ride? We don’t blame you. Even with social distancing practices in place, taking a boat that holds so many people at once can be a cause for concern for the more cautious of us. But don’t worry! You can still get to the Islands with a trip via Tiki Taxi!

This water-taxi service is officially back up and running after a brief hiatus thanks to the virus. They’re made up of eight customized Tiki-themed boats that are decorated to the nines with real bamboo, reclaimed wood, and synthetic thatched roofs. You’ll feel like you’re on a tropical vacation with these guys.

Of course, as we mentioned before, they’re a safe option to travel to the Islands amid ongoing COVID-19 concerns. They reduced their already limited capacity to even smaller numbers. Plus, all those on the boat will need to wear masks at all times. You can read more about Tiki Taxi’s COVID-19 protocols here.

Tickets are only $10 per rider, so there’s no reason not to take a trip with Tiki Taxi! Be sure to get in quick, while the weather’s still hot.
