Home of the Week: A sleek and tranquil Hoggs Hollow oasis
From here on out, we’re changing the name of this segment to Dream of the Week. Cause seriously, all we seem to find are absolute dream houses. And this week is no exception! This beautiful Hoggs Hollow property is a lush and tranquil escape from city living.
TORONTO HOME OF THE WEEK
Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, it almost feels like a cottage getaway. Only with none of the fixer-upper qualities of a cottage. Yup, it’s newly renovated and oh-so-sleek. It’s pretty much the perfect property. Yeah, we say that every week. But this time we extra mean it! If you don’t believe us, just keep on reading…
The aesthetic of the place is warm and homey. Plus, they’ve got crisp white walls and countertops that make everything feel super clean. We are obsessed with the contrast between the while and the dark hardwood found throughout the house.
Also, do you guys see that wine fridge in the kitchen? Nothing to whine about here….
It’s an incredible 3+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom property sitting on 778.41 square metres of land. Speaking of land, the outside area is also insane.
There’s a beautiful patio perfect for barbecuing. Plus, they’ve got extensive landscaping with an outdoor pool and room for eight cars. Yeah, we just said EIGHT. So, if you collect cars and aren’t sure where to put them, just buy this house! What? Like it’s hard??
It’s an open concept, so even though it’s a little isolated from society, you’ll never feel cramped. Plus, those floor to ceiling windows let in so much natural light it would always feel bright and spacious.
We’ve also gotta say… props to whoever the interior designer is for this place. The subtle blue accents found all over the house really bring it all together. Even though we definitely can’t afford the place, we’re still taking notes on how to decorate our own. Except we might lose the horse painting. No offense to horse lovers. It’s just not exactly our vibe.
The gorgeous master bedroom is really more of a master retreat. First of all, just look at how stunning all the dark furniture and hardwood is. It also comes equipped with an in-room fireplace and an ensuite bathroom. A fireplace in your room, guys! It’s just so cozy!!
Of course, there are tons of other incredible perks we haven’t even gotten to yet. The laundry list includes multiple fireplaces, a fully finished basement, a media room/theatre, and stainless steel appliances. We could go on, but we think you get the picture.
This stunning property could be all yours to the tune of $3,888,000. Eh, compared to some of the other crazy-expensive Home Of The Weeks we’ve seen, that’s actually not that bad! We’ll still never be able to afford it… But it’s a slightly more accessible dream! And that’s good enough for us. Take it all in here.
