Andrew’s Scenic Acres– Ontario

Andrew’s has built a rep in the Greater Toronto Area for pick-your-own-everything (dahlias, gooseberries, raspberries, asparagus, you name it). They call their sunflower patch a Sunflower Kingdom, so you know it’s real. Book a tour to learn about bees and honey-making, enjoy a scenic wagon ride, and chill with farmyard animals.

You’ve probably heard of Chilliwack’s iconic tulip fest, but their sunflower fest is just as fantastic. You can expect 5 acres of blooms to explore, swing sets, an operational windmill, a vintage bicycle, face cut-outs, and more. Overall, an Insta goldmine (literally, these flowers are yellow).

There’s no better place to snap a pic than in 35 acres of sunflowers! If you can’t imagine what 35 acres looks like, just imagine 46 football fields of flowers. Yeah, go big or go home. They’ve also got sunflower yoga and handmade goods to buy. Load up on the honey and thank us later!

Dakeyne Farm– Nova Scotia

This place might be the most wholesome spot to see sunflowers in Canada. Bring a picnic and enjoy an old fashioned day on top of their beautiful hill, play soccer, throw a Frisbee, have a game of ring toss, or spend some time with cows and horses. But our fave part? Pre-book and you can release a large group of butterflies into the field (yes, we’re serious).

Black Fox Farm & Distillery– Saskatchewan

This non-traditional farm produces award-winning spirits and has the largest cut flower farm on the prairies. We love the idea of stopping to smell the flowers and sipping while we do it, so Black Fox is big in our books. Hit them up for a tour, event or festival and go home smelling like booze and blooms (the two best B’s!).
