Ahh, autumn. The crisp air, the crunching leaves below your feet, pumpkin flavoured everything. Is there anything better? We don’t think so. Autumn is arguably one of the prettiest times of the year, and we plan on making the most of that with tons of fall exploration.
From provincial parks to vineyards, to hidden gems in the city, there are so many gorgeous locations for beautiful fall colours in Ontario we don’t know where to start. So let’s just jump right into it.

Don Valley Parkway – Leaside Bridge

You don’t even need to leave the city to enjoy the beautiful fall colours as you drive along the DVP. We know, it’s an unconventional choice. But don’t knock it till you try it! There’s nothing quite like rounding the corner, going southbound, before the Bayview-Bloor exit, and being met with stunning views of the skyline surrounded by gorgeous fall foliage.
Trust us, you’re gonna wanna see for yourself.

Another Toronto spot that’s too good to miss. Walk, bike, or drive through this incredible tree-lined stretch of the city. You’ll be fully immersed in all the beautiful autumn colours as you explore this little home-grown oasis. Be sure to pick up a pumpkin-themed beverage to accompany you on your visit!

Prince Edward County
This small town in Ontario is known for how quaint and adorable it is. You can walk along cobblestone roads, enjoy local restaurants and shops, or hang out by the water. Now imagine doing all that with falling autumn leaves surrounding you. Sounds pretty amazing, right? We think so too.

There’s some incredible camping ground at this gorgeous Ontario park. Spend a weekend in Killarney this fall to enjoy gorgeous scenery overlooking the Georgian Bay. We recommend going out on a canoe or kayak to amp your experience up a notch.

Blue Mountain is gorgeous all year round, but during the fall it’s even better. You can enjoy all the outdoor experiences available like ropes courses, fall hikes, and of course the famous Ridge Runner coaster. It’s the perfect place to hit for a day trip or an overnight stay.

The views from the lookout point of this hike are simply unbeatable. From the top of the cliff, you’ll be able to see incredible autumn-coloured forests for miles. Plus, you can stop by one of the many waterfalls in the park on your way up. But the best part? Dogs are allowed to join you on your trek! So leash up your furry friend and hit the road.

This gorgeous park is perfect for a weekend camping getaway. Algonquin Park is home to 34 native species of trees, so you already KNOW the autumn colours will be phenomenal. You can hike the area, set up a bonfire, or enjoy the lake when you take a trip here.

Alright, this selection covers a ton of different areas. But if we named them all this list would go on forever. Take a trip to Muskoka to explore the beautiful autumn views in Hunstville, Lake of Bays, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Bala, Georgian Bay, and more. There are so many pockets of gorgeous scenery here you won’t know where to start! We recommend making this a weekend-long excursion and trying many butter tarts while you’re there.
