Drake’s controversial new Beatles tattoo is making some waves

The man is no stranger to some weirdly symbolic pieces, and Drake’s new tattoo is maybe the most straightforward of the bunch. To celebrate beating the record for having the most top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, Drake quite literally put himself in front of The Beatles.

The Toronto rapper recreated the iconic Abbey Road image and placed himself waving to the rest of the crew. Tongue in cheek? Absolutely. Disrespectful? You can be the judge. Personally, we just think it’s funny.

Especially because Drake has got some of the weirdest tattoos in the rap game. From a bottle of Drakkar Noir to a flaming skull reminiscent of Nic Cage in Ghost Rider, the guy has truly opened his skin up for whatever he’s in the mood for.

Anyway, we say good for you to Drake’s new tattoo. You’ve had one heck of a year, from your home team winning the NBA championship to releasing a pseudo greatest non-hits album, you’ve earned a little celebration ink.

Of course, we’re just waiting for the day when he fires shots at the rest of the legends in the music world. Maybe Mariah Carey next?
