We’re all about getting out into nature this fallThere are tons of incredible autumn hikes to hit, but today we’ll be discussing the Cranberry Hiking Trails at Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery. With just a 2-hour drive outside of the city, you can explore an incredible outdoor autumn oasis. Plus, you’ll even spot the massive Bala Bog Monster while you’re there!

Some of you may recognize the Bala Bog Monster from it’s stint in the Toronto Distillery District back in 2013. The towering piece of art looks like it could be straight out of the set of Stranger Things. Seriously, this thing is intimidating. There’s no better time than Halloween season to check out something like that!

Along with the sculpture, you’ll also be able to explore cranberry beds and beautiful bodies of water. Plus, it’s a winery so, ya know, maybe sample a product or two while you’re there? All-in-all, the spot makes for a wonderful autumn weekend day trip.

So pile into that car and head to this fabulous location. The Bala Bog Monster is waiting for you!
