Canadian Student Entrepreneurs can win up to $10,000 with this new competition

HSBC and Enactus Canada present the Student Entrepreneur National Competition

Are you a student who runs your own business? We’ve got a great opportunity to tell you about. HSBC Bank Canada has partnered with Enactus Canada to present the Student Entrepreneur National Competition. This amazing initiative is a wonderful way to get your small business a little bit of funding and exposure. Can never have too much of that, right?

So the Enactus Canada Student Entrepreneur National Competition takes place every year. Students from schools across the country are encouraged to pitch their business to a panel of executives for a chance as some incredible prizes. The winner gets a whopping $10,000 to invest in their plan, the first runner up gets $4,000 and the second runner up gets $2,000. Not too shabby, huh.

To enter you just need to fit three requirements. First, you’re a full-time student at a Canadian university or college in the current academic year. Second, you’re a founder and have at least 25% ownership of your company with no one else owning more. Third, you have not won or competed in the final round of this competition before. If that sounds like you, you’re good to go!
