Canada Goose teams up with local artist for new location at Toronto’s Eaton Centre
It may be the middle of summer, but it’s never too early to start prepping for when that winter chill comes creeping in. This is why we’re excited to announce the opening of a brand new Canada Goose store at the Eaton Centre. This downtown location of the famous brand is bringing its expertise in cold weather apparel to create a super stellar cultural hub within the city.
So on top of being a top tier spot for winter apparel, this store is set to be a place that brings local arts and culture to its customers. And to celebrate their opening, Canada Goose has partnered with Toronto-based artist Alexis Eke. This incredible illustrator has been commissioned to design the store’s front window display. And we gotta say, she did a pretty incredible job.
The window installation captures Eke’s unique style – rooted in her Caribbean upbringing and inspired by Renaissance portraits and Japanese art. And it also puts forward the brand’s message to “Live in the Open.” It’s a definite perk to what’s shaping up to be a great addition to the mall.
And on top of great art, this Canada Goose location will also be the second Canadian store to feature was is called the “cold room.” This neat feature will allow customers to test out their products in a temperature-controlled -25°C room. It’s basically a winter simulation, y’all. And you’ve gotta see it to believe it.
So head on down to the Eaton Centre and check out their newest and coolest addition. Shopping for a winter coat has never been this fun.
