Move over boring old grocery store, we’ve got a new gourmet grocer on its way! That’s right, a brand new location of the iconic Summerhill Market is about to hit Toronto, and let us tell you, we’re pretty dang pumped. Yes, the pandemic has turned us into people who get excited over fresh produce. Who wouldn’t be jazzed about a new spot to get essential goods?

So the new Summerhill Market is set to hit the heart of Toronto’s Forest Hill neighbourhood. This willl be the fourth location of the popular joint. The space was formerly the site of EDO Restaurant, and has a whopping 7,200 square feet to play with.

Of course, all the space has been put to good use. The gourmet grocer is now a breathtaking culinary wonderland, thanks to exciting renovations by Pencil Design.

As if gorgeous aesthetics aren’t enough to be pumped about, the spot will also be opening under the leadership of Toronto-based chef Ted Corrado. You may know this fellow for his work at The Drake properties. With that track record, we think it’s safe to say we’re in good hands.

Although the exact opening date hasn’t been released yet, it’s scheduled to come out within the next few weeks. Then we’ll be marking our calendars for the ultimate grocery shopping experience.

See ya there!
