DOWNEY’S FARM

Of course, we’ve got to start with one of the most iconic pumpkin patches near the city. If you’ve scrolled through Instagram in the fall, chances are you’ve seen a photo (or twelve) of this place. They’re known for their sprawling pile of pumpkins outside their farm building. But they’ve also got tractor rides, a corn maze, and apple picking.

HUTCHINSON FARM

Head out to Burlington to take advantage of this gorgeous spot. This family-owned farm prides itself on its fresh produce that’s picked daily. You’ll always get the richest flavours out of what you find here. So we recommend choosing this spot if you’re planning on baking a pumpkin pie.

DIXIE ORCHARDS

You’ve been here for sunflower fields and apple picking, so of course, you’ll stop by for a pumpkin patch too. Tried and true, Dixie Orchards knows what’s up. It’s only $3 per person for an apple/pumpkin pass. So you can explore this incredible place without breaking the bank!

MURPHY’S FARM MARKET

There’s nothing better than walking into a bakery and being engulfed by the sweet smells of autumn. That’s what you’ll get when you visit this amazing spot. After you’ve finished up at their onsite pumpkin patch, be sure to indulge in their many delicious baked goods. Seriously, this place is heavenly. They’ve also got loads of fall activities going on right now to keep you entertained!

ANDREW’S FARM MARKET & WINERY

Want a little wine with your pumpkin patch? You’ve come to the right place. At Andrew’s Farm Market and Winery you can have some wholesome fall fun and, well, some less than wholesome fun as well. Stop by and sample their delicious wines (made from fresh fruit on the farm) before roaming the grounds. Did someone say boozy pumpkin patch exploring?

APPLEWOOD FARM WINERY

Fun fact about this spot, it was one of the shooting locations for Canada’s pride and joy Schitt’s Creek! You’ll recognize the sprawling grounds as the site of “Herb Ertlinger Winery,” where Moira shoots her infamous wine commercial in season one and where she and David revisit in season six. Oh, and they’ve got a pretty awesome pumpkin patch as well.

LINTON’S FARM MARKET

Last but not least we’ve got Linton’s Farm Market. These gorgeous grounds make for a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Along with U-pick pumpkins, the location has a farmer’s market stacked high with all kinds of delicious, fresh produce. You can skip the weekly grocery store visit when you hit up this spot!
