GUILD PARK AND GARDENS
This hidden gem requires a trip out to Scarborough, but trust us it is worth the commute. The scenic and historic park is chock full of incredible sculptures and pieces of art. Plus, beautiful gardens to round the whole spot out. It really is a wonder that the place isn’t talked about more!

HIGH PARK CHERRY BLOSSOMS
This one’s the most obvious choice when it comes to spring. Can you imagine Toronto without this staple activity? We sure can’t. As long as COVID-19 regulations allow it, be sure to stop by the iconic outdoor attraction once peak bloom hits.

ACTIVETO
Last spring and summer, ActiveTO was the weekend spot to hit. Getting outdoor and getting active was never so easy thanks to the routine road closures to make room for pedestrians. This year, the program is coming back and we cannot wait. There’s no word yet on the official start date, but it should be coming our way soon.

SUNSET AT RIVERDALE PARK
There’s something about warm spring evenings that just make us smile. Watching the sunset over the incredible view this spot offers provides a pretty well perfect springtime experience. This designation is great for a picnic or a date.

HIT A DOG PARK
You can’t enjoy the warm weather without your furry friend in tow! There are tons of amazing dog parks around the city for you and your pup to explore. It’s a great way to get outside. Plus, of course, it’s free.

SATURDAY FARMERS MARKET
The change in season brings a whole host of amazing new produce to explore at the Farmers Market. Every Saturday this spring, you can head over to the Brickworks to explore their gorgeous artisanal goods and seasonal food. We recommend squeezing in a little hike of the park while you’re there.

LEASLIEVILLE FLEA MARKET
Another great market for a little springtime window shopping is the Leslieville Flea Market. This spot has a few exciting dates coming up this season that you won’t want to miss. There’s the Mother’s Day Market at the Distillery District, an outdoor market at Ashbridge Estate, plus a few dates at the Stackt Market. We’ll see ya there!

SPRING COUNTDOWN AT THE BENTWAY
This next pick is crazy cool. Literally. Right now at The Bentway, you can check out an amazing, natural spring countdown. There’s a giant block of ice on display that’s slowly melting as we move into spring. In the middle of the block, an iconic spring/summer symbol is frozen inside. You’ve got to check this thing out while it’s still around.

LUMINOSITY TORONTO
From now until the middle of April, you can walk or drive along Queen St East to enjoy a ton of beautiful light displays. The Beaches area has pulled out all the stops this season to welcome spring in the best way possible. Who doesn’t love a good old outdoor art display?

GO ON A SPRING HIKE
