WOODBINE BEACH
This mega-popular beach has three kilometres of sand for you to post up on. Also, you can play around on the volleyball courts, dip into the swimming pool if you’re a lake nonbeliever, or skin your knees at the skate park. Just soak that scab right in the lake, that’s healthy.

BLUFFER’S BEACH
We’re not bluffing, the views here are gorgeous. We’re here with our humour all week, friends! Situated under the Scarborough Bluffs, this beach has an unbeatable view and tons of nearby hiking spots.

SUGAR BEACH
You’d probably know those pink umbrellas anywhere. The combo of white sand and cute pink aesthetic make this the ideal beach day paradise. Unless you really hate pink, then keep reading. Pink hater. You can’t swim here but you can bask all day in those whimsical urban vibes! There is a splash pond if you get too warm, though. The toddlers will share.

HANLAN’S POINT BEACH
Free the nipple at Toronto’s only nude beach! Let the sun shine where the sun don’t shine and enjoy all the benefits of totally even tan lines.

ROUGE BEACH
While not red, this beach is golden if you’re looking to fish. Was that funny? Who knows. Either way, you’re welcome to explore the wetlands or try to catch a swimmer here. The fish kind, please leave the actual swimmers alone.

CENTRE ISLAND BEACH
Chill on Centre Island and take advantage of the nearby concession and change rooms. No awkward towel changes here, folks! The island’s got great skyline views if you need to avert your eyes from a Speedo.
Where: Just off the ferry (terminal at 9 Queen’s Quay W)
CHERRY BEACH
If you’re okay with a bit more of a rough landscape, this is a favourite beach for weekends. It’s also a perfect spot to try your hand at falling off a windsurfing board. We’d call it windsurfing, but we’re not really there yet.
Where: intersection of Unwin Ave & Regatta Rd
KEW-BALMY BEACH
Expect this place to be poppin’ on nice days with buskers, concession, and scantily-clad folk. The proximity to Queen East makes it easy to grab lunch after getting nice and pruny.
