Don’t as us what pairs with wine. Our best guess is some sort of cheese and a nice summer day. While we might not be experts, we love a good wine tour! These 10 Ontario winery tours are a perfect way to spend a nice day, mysterious cheese included. Don’t worry, we picked wineries that happily accept walk-ins, so you can sip at your leisure.
This picture-perfect winery has a hidden surprise for ya! It’s Niagara’s only igloo lounge where you can rock a Peller Estates parka and taste Icewine at -10 C. Icy in the best way.

Thirsty at Thirty Bench? You’re in the right place for award-winning wine. Actually, we don’t recommend using wine to hydrate but we wouldn’t blame you if you tried here anyways.
Where: 4281 Mountainview Rd, Beamsville
Want to learn about the winemaking process in depth? There’s no better place! Learn among 800 wine barrels and huge 2-storey wine tanks for an unforgettable experience. It’s like school, but alcoholic.
Where: 1067 Niagara Stone Rd, Niagara-on-the-Lake
Alvento has been inviting guests to their boutique country winery for 18 years now. The charm comes partly from the authentic 19th-century barn, partly from the adorable B&B on the estate, and party from the alcohol buzz.
Where: 3048 2nd Ave, Vineland Station
A gem among Norfolk County, this repurposed tobacco pack building couldn’t be in a better location. Soak your insides with wine while you soak in views of Lake Erie. We’ll be taking a happy, buzzed beach nap after this tasting.
Where: 1709 Front Rd, St Williams
Sit yourself down on that picturesque patio at sunset with a sampling flight, why don’t ya? Try their specialty hybrids like L’Acadie Blanc and Marquette. If you don’t really know what those mean, just know they’re worth the visit.
Where: 599448 2nd Concession North RR1, Annan
This gorgeous estate is on one of Ontario’s oldest family-run farms. They’ve been producing grapes for over 200 years. Stop by for the gorgeous, tree-covered outdoor patio!
Where: 4060 Jordan Rd, Jordan
So the wine is amazing and the building is rad, but let’s talk about the real draw here: the incredible lavender fields. We wouldn’t blame you for going full photo shoot mode out here at all.
Where: 130 County Rd 50 E, Harrow
Feelin’ fancy? Hit this spot up for a round of golf after your tasting. Or, go before the tasting if you’re worried about being under par. Depends how competitive your friend group is.
Where: 3290 Ninth St, St Catharines
Relax with a specially packed picnic lunch on this gorgeous estate. We recommend starting the picnic with one of their stellar pinot noirs, chardonnays or sparkling wines. Ahhh, we like very much.
Where: 1243 Greer Rd, Wellington
There are few excuses in the world to day drink. Wine tours are definitely one. Make the most of the summer season and enjoy an Ontario winery tour! Cheers, pals!
