Drinks taste better when you’re on a rooftop, it’s definitely science. We did a thesis on it, and through our research we found 10 of the best rooftop patios in Toronto for you to enjoy this summer! Highly technical stuff, we might need some help with our study. Maybe you could just go try all these out, and let us know which is the best? You know, for science.
This gorgeous patio is bringing serious Miami vibes, without the 99% humidity and giant cockroaches. Cuddle up under hanging plants and boho lamps, and you can just about pretend you’re on a tropical vacation.

Everything The Drake touches turns into trendy gold, and their patio is no different. Southwestern themed art adds a hefty dose of pizazz. How many drinks until you think that llama mural is talking to you? That’s our ideal level of lit.

44th floor and a pool next to the resto, it doesn’t get a whole lot more boujee than that! Celebs like to drop by here when they’re in town, so we’re on 24/7 Chris Hemsworth watch until the end of the summer. Hey, anything can happen up here!

Nothing like skyline views and Aperol spritz, are we right? This rooftop is packed with live music, snacks, and perfect summer drinks (hint: frozen). Drop by after work, for happy hour, or for one of their ridiculously fun game nights. Giant Jenga, baby!
Where: 75 Lower Simcoe St
One of the newest and plantiest additions to the rooftop patio scene, this gorgeous spot will be serving up blended drinks and Hoegaarden all summer. We’ll be getting sunburnt and admiring their beautiful foliage. Who’s your plant guy?

Affectionately coined the “Flight Deck,” the rooftop of The Pilot is definitely worth the stairs. They’re decked out with heaters, retractable awnings, and plenty of cool drinks. We’ll be landing (pun intended) here all summer.

Enough glasses of riesling, squint a little a the top of the pyramid, and you can almost pretend you’re on top of the Louvre. Disclaimer: many glasses required. No need to get interplanetary to enjoy this bumpin’ rooftop, though. It’s always a wicked time!

This newly restored historic boutique hotel might be 127 years old, but it hardly looks a day over 25! Head up to the rooftop for drinks on one of Toronto’s most historic hotels.

Treat yourself to a little bit of luxury on this 16th-floor getaway. Or maybe just spring a couple of bucks for a drink, nurse it, and savour the high life until the end of the night. Do what you can. Skyline cocktails never get old- we wouldn’t really know but we’re assuming so. Just lurk in the pool so they won’t be able to kick you out.

They say it’s better on top at The Porch, so get your mind out of the gutter and see what the hype is about! Bask under the sun and the CN Tower while you sip a tower margarita. Life’s good up here.
