The world may not be fully reopened just yet, but there are still a ton of fun day trips to take near Toronto. They’re all super easy ways to get a little adventure into your weekend or day off. If you ask us, this spot is the perfect day trip getaway. They’ve got beautiful lavender fields to explore. Plus, they even have a winery! A glass of vino to go with the perfect Instagram location? Yes, please!

A brand new ecotourism spot has just been built in Ontario. It’s brought to us by the community of Six Nations. And its goal is to promote the history and culture of the Haudenosaunee. You can visit here to learn about and participate in the sustainable and holistic practices of the area.

CROSS A SUSPENSION BRIDGE

This day trip is perfect for all the thrill-seekers out there. Did you know that only about two hours outside of the city you can find a massive suspension bridge to cross? If you’re afraid of heights, we recommend sitting this one out. Because strolling along this eye-popping bridge is enough excitement to quench anyone’s thirst for adventure.

EXPLORE A HISTORICAL SITE

This cool spot is perfect for those of you who like to learn about history on your day trips. The Dundurn National Historic Site is home to the Dundurn Castle, The Hamilton Military Museum, and the Historic Kitchen Garden. And it’s all just one hour south of the city. Not bad at all!
