Toronto’s newest resto is serving the city’s best yakitori

Via Kintori Yakitori

Our favourite things that start with Y are yakitori and… uh… yaks? We’ll stick with yakitori. Kintori Yakitori (how fun is that to say?) is reopening this month, so get ready for mouthwatering yakitori all fall long.

Kintori comes from the Kinka Family, who brought you Kinton Ramen, Kinka Izakaya, and JaBistro. They’ve jazzed the menu right up with Chef Masanori Miura at the helm. He was trained in Japan, and the dude has devoted his life to yakitori.

Chef Miura is super passionate about bringing Japanese cuisine abroad, so every dish is coming with that extra special ingredient. Love. Yeah, that was a little mushy but it’s true, okay?

Expect charcoal-grilled skewers, small tapas-style dishes, veggie options, and tons of features. Also, a little birdie told us about some secret menu items, but you didn’t hear that from us. Additionally, you’ll be sipping Japanese-inspired cocktails and tons of local beer.

Get your stomach ready for this grand reopening, because it’s going to be a super tasty one! No yaks. Lots of yakitori.
