This little Italian spot is now one of Toronto’s all-time favourites

Via Curiocity Toronto

Sometimes your day just needs some meatballs. That came out weird. Actually though, Italian comfort food hugs us from the inside and makes us feel so good. That also came out weird. Let’s just get into it, and take a look at Sugo. This casual eatery is serving up all the carby classics you need!

This unfussy Bloordale spot serves high-piled spaghetti on checkered tablecloths, and a steady stream of people is constantly in. Seriously, the meatballs might be the best we can find outside of actual Italy.

Also, fun little tidbit for ya, once upon a time a customer proposed to his girlfriend here. You can find their picture on the wall if you want to remind yourself how horribly single you are. Just us?

Choosing what to eat is going to be hard, but we rounded up some all-time favourites to recommend. First of all, definitely go for the meatballs. Also, the pasta sauce is always on point so make sure you’re getting garlic bread to sop up those extras! Sorry for the use of the word “sop.”

Also, don’t leave without tiramisu, trust us. The portions aren’t shy so get ready for a very happy food baby!

Don’t take it from us. Actually, take it from us because we don’t waste calories on bad pasta. Add Sugo to your list, and thank us later.
