These are the must-try dishes at Toronto’s fave brunch spot right now

Getting sick of your same old avocado toast? Ssh, don’t let the millennials hear you say that. We get it though, sometimes your brunch needs a next-level twist. Sisters & Co is here to help you with that. They’re doing brunch their own way, and it’s got the neighbourhood absolutely buzzing!

When you walk in this place, the first thing you’re going to think is “oh wow those chairs are adorable where did they buy those?” At least, that’s what we thought. After that, you’ll be greeted by the ever-friendly owners, and it’ll be time to make some food decisions.

Everything is simple, fresh, and reminiscent of home cooking. That’s nice, because our mom lives in Saskatoon so we don’t really get much home cooking. Also, who wants to go to Saskatoon? Love you, mom.

Here’s the twist: this is a brunch spot, but with a fun Asian flair. There’s a lot of good stuff to try, but we’re going to heavily suggest (demand) you taste a few things first.

The signature spicy tomato oxtail stew should be top of your list. It’s a family recipe that takes 5 hours to make, and it’s worth every second. Also, we’re big fans of the earl grey pancakes and citrus mascarpone waffles. Whoops, just drooled a little. House-made strawberry sauce has that effect on us.

If you’re feeling savoury, give the chicken katsu club sandwich a go. It’s packed with crispy pano fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and garlic aioli.

Don’t fill up before you get to the home fries, though! They’re perfectly seasoned and anyone in the place will tell you they’re worth finishing the plate for.

Yeah, there’s still avocado toast on the menu. Don’t worry, kids. Oh, speaking of kids, there is a kid’s menu here if you’ve got the little ones in tow.

Hungry yet? We’re down to ditch work and get some pancakes.
