Popular Canadian restaurant chain is selling groceries during COVID-19
As you all know, Canadian restaurants have been forced to close their doors to dine-in guests thanks to COVID-19. And although some are still open for delivery and takeout, it can be a huge financial burden on keeping our favourite dining locations afloat. Well, a new initiative has just been started by Canadian resto chain, Earls Kitchen and Bar. Now you can get your groceries from them!
The plan is kind of a win-win for everyone. Selling groceries can supplement some of the lost income on the restaurant’s end. Plus, people who purchase from them can avoid the long line ups at their regular grocery stores. Alright, we can get on board with that!

The Earls’ groceries come in a variety of “packs” you can choose from. There’s a produce pack, a dairy & egg pack, a vegetarian essentials pack, a pantry pack, and a protein pack. Whew, we just said pack so many times the word has lost all meaning. You can also get some individual items, home essentials (yes, they’re selling toilet paper) and chef kits as well!
Plus, if you’re feeling like one of their normal restaurant menu options, they have free delivery on orders over $30 on SkipTheDishes! Wow, is there anything they don’t do??
So check ’em out next time you find yourself in need of some essentials. Or just in need of some tasty eats.
