One of our favourite Toronto summertime staple activities is hitting up Cabana Pool Bar. The gorgeous waterfront spot has incredible views of the city, delicious cocktails to match, and absolutely outrageous parties. But obviously this year, things have to be a little different. The normally crowded spot seems like a definite no-go amid all this social distancing. But instead of staying closed, Cabana Pool Bar has done a massive restructuring. And now they’re Cabana Waterfront Patio!

So what are all the differences? We’re glad you asked. Instead of being the giant area that allowed folks to mingle, they’re now a fully functioning restaurant. In fact, they might just be the biggest outdoor patio restaurant in the city. They’ve got 50,000 square feet of patio space. Plus, they’re licensed to hold up to 2,500 people! But during COVID-19 times, that number will be a little closer to 400.

The whole place has been restructured so that tables are places in a socially distant model. Plus, they’re operating as reservation only for now. All of the staff will be in PPE and their menus (that feature a ton of new items) will be touchless. They’ve even installed plexiglass between cabanas for optimal safety.

Cabana Waterfront Patio officially opens this Thursday, June 25th. So head online today to make your reservation!

Happy patio season!
