Holiday Sparkle Tunnel Toronto

Sometimes the holidays can get a little stressful. But you know what’s a great cure for the Christmas blues? Sparkle tunnels. It’s scientific fact that nobody can be sad when they’re standing inside a tube of glittery lights, so this December, it’s time to get yo’ glitter on.

This soon-to-be-open, 80-foot tunnel is designed by local art collective Studio F Minus, AKA the designers of the giant snowflake (Frost, at Brookfield Place). Everything’s still under construction, but we gotta say that it looks pretty good so far.

Once it’s done, it’ll be decked out with hanging lights and 14 million sequins… but these aren’t your basic sequins. Oh no, these babies are reversible, which means that they’ll be colour-changing, soft to the touch, and– much like Snapchat Streaks– they’ll be irresistible to anyone in Gen Z.
