We know everyone’s travel plans got a little screwed by the Coronavirus pandemic. But there are some pretty cool ways to travel the world from home. We know that sounds pretty crazy but trust us. Google has created The Hidden Worlds of the National Parks series to give us a glimpse into the best of America’s National Parks. Virtual road trip, anyone?

We’re pretty pumped on this and think you guys will be too after giving it a try. This feature of Google Arts & Culture connects viewers online with National Park Rangers. And these Rangers will give you a virtual guide through 5 of America’s most unique and diverse National Parks.

The parks featured are Kenai Fjords in Alaska, Hawai’i Volcanoes, Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico, Bryce Canyon in Utah, and Dry Tortugas in Florida.

Plus, these tours are anything but boring. They’re incredibly well shot and designed and the Rangers are engaging and informative. It really feels like you’re watching a show on Netflix and we all love Netflix. Not to mention, this feature is a really good reminder of the natural beauty that our neighbouring country has. Plus, it’s free!

So if you’ve been feeling really cooped up, The Hidden Worlds of the National Parks might just be your perfect escape from home. And who knows, maybe this online experience will inspire some exciting travel plans for the future. Or, maybe Google will come up with the Canadian version next. Either or!
