Bud Stage celebrates 25 years with insane season pass deal
The Budweiser Stage is 25! Happy birthday to yooou, happy birthday to yooou… Okay, leave the singing to the professionals. Speaking of singers, there’s a pretty insane deal going on to celebrate the big day.
Canada’s favourite lakeside venue was opened with a Bryan Adams show back in 1995. Since then, the stage has hosted everyone from Bob Dylan to Metallica. Also, Canadian talent like Drake and Neil Young have graced it’ presence.
Budweiser Stage was renamed three years ago. Who doesn’t love a beer endorsement?
Now, back to the deal. The stage saw a record-breaking 54 concerts last year. Overall, an unreal 850 concerts have been seen by eight million fans. So, lots of music and lots of fans.
Therefore, to reward those fans and keep the music going, Budweiser Stage is running a little dealio. You can buy a season’s pass for $750. This works out to $15 per concert if you attend 50 shows. It’s a super reasonable $30 if you attend 25 shows, in case simple math isn’t your thing.
Basically, it’s a dang good deal if you like concerts. Instead of dropping a hundred here and there for your favourite artists, you have all-access rights to any show played at the stage.
“We’re trying to introduce something that’s accessible for everybody at a reasonable price,” said Live Nation Canada Chairman Riley O’ Connor.
The season pass goes on sale Friday, March 29. Splurge for one yourself or find a couple of trust fund friends to split it with. Or, maybe we could go in halfsies with ya?
