A ‘Glacier Wall’ installation has been set up at Union Station for the winter season
Next time you find yourself walking or driving past Union Station, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for their brand new winter display. Presented by TD, Union Holiday is bringing a little magic to Toronto’s downtown core. All season long, you can enjoy an immersive, luminous outdoor glacier wall installation. It’s a gorgeous, socially-distant way to light up your commute.
The Union Holiday display features tons of incredible details. There are large-scale cliffs, that look like ice floes and icebergs. Plus, a beautiful frozen waterfall and sustainably-sourced tree dressed up in all the holiday glam. They’re even hosting immersive sound and light shows every single day.
On top of all that, the display is also serving as a fundraiser for United Way Greater Toronto. Every time someone posts a photo of the installation using the hashtag #TDUnionHoliday, they’ll donate $1 to the cause. So if you plan on snapping a festive pic, be sure to post it to spread the love!
The display will be open all December long, so be sure to pencil in a visit. Whether you pass Union Station every day on your morning commute, or you need to go a little out of your way, we’re sure a marvel at this gorgeous set-up will be well worth your time.
