This Netflix original series was released this week and it’s already jumped to #1 trending in Canada today. So we think it must be worth the watch. It follows three girls as they plan and execute a grocery store heist. It’s got some hilarious moments that you will not wanna miss.
And of course, we’ve gotta include a teen drama of the week. This time it’s Banana Split. It’s a quirky coming-of-age story starring Hannah Marks, Liana Liberato, and Dylan Sprouse, and it follows two girls who develop an unlikely friendship despite leaving for college and dating each other’s ex-boyfriends. Whew, the drama!! You can catch it all on Netflix.
And if you’re into sports docs, this one’s for you. It’s a Netflix original docuseries all about college football, but with a twist. Most of these athletes should or could have been playing Division 1 football, but for whatever reason, they’re stuck in a lower division school. If you’re in the mood for a little inspiration, we think this one’s worth the stream.
This creepy pick is a Polish drama that is sure to get under your skin. It won the title of Best International Narrative Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival this year. And it follows a man who delves into the dark world of social media trolling. Like most dramas, things escalate and his Internet trolling eventually has very real-world, very violent consequences. Maybe don’t watch this one with kids in the room. You can find it on Netflix.
Happy streaming, everyone!
