Explore the coolest buildings in Markham at their Doors Open event
Remember how incredible Doors Open Toronto was? All of the coolest buildings in the city that are normally closed to the public, open for exploration! Markham has been following suit, and their very own Doors Open is happening this weekend!
Doors Open aims to show people a little slice of cultural and historical info they’ve never seen before. This is done by allowing the public into buildings that are normally decked out all “no trespassing” n’ stuff. Today, we trespass!

Some of these buildings include Heintzman House, Markham Village Fire Station, Rouge River Brewing Company, and the Varley Art Gallery. The theme this year is “communication.” Communicate to your pals that you should be spending the day checking out all the places.
Cool spots, no sneaking around, no getting arrested! We love Doors Open.
