Two Toronto markets are teaming up for a huge fill-a-bag shopping experience

Get ready to dig. Literally. Two beloved Toronto markets are teaming up to host Toronto’s biggest-ever fill-a-bag shopping event, with a pile of clothes up for grabs for one day only. Here’s what to know.

If the thrill of the thrift is your kind of cardio, mark your calendars. On July 5, 2025, Toronto’s Welcome Market and Archive Market are joining forces to host a massive fill-a-bag event with over 4,000 pounds of clothing. We’re talking vintage, Y2K, and streetwear pieces.

The best part about this is that it’s starting at just $30 a bag. “We are excited to provide affordable vintage clothing through our Fill-A-Bag Event, as a way to give back and show our appreciation to our community,” says Paul Filio of the Archive Market

The event will take place at 938 Queen St. W., where customers will scour through piles of clothes, looking for the best finds, all under 15 minutes.

“It was the perfect partnership because they’ve had the idea of this event for a while, and we’re able to provide the perfect space to host such an event and make it BIG, especially with the space being over 90 feet long,” says Cindy from the Welcome Market.

You have two options for bag sizes: a small bag for $30 and a large bag for $60. Pro tip: fold your clothes properly so you can fill up your bag to the brim.

This is a great way for you to upgrade that wardrobe, especially for summer.

Don’t miss out!
