Now, who wouldn’t love to be reminded of all the transit delays and closures when they open up their gifts on Christmas morning? All jokes aside, if you have a gift exchange, white elephant, or holiday party coming up in Toronto, the TTC has you covered. I had a good chuckle this morning when I saw that not only does the TTC have a holiday sweater you can buy, but an entire line of holiday merchandise.
Let’s start with the sweater. This “ugly” holiday sweater boasts a pretty hilarious statement for the TTC: “May your travels be merry and bright.” Yeah, TTC, we’re trying…
This sweater will run you $59.95, but dare I say, it could be worth it? One thing is for sure — it will certainly be a conversation starter at your holiday party.
Next up, the ornaments. I gotta admit, these are adorable. There are a few options: a streetcar ornament, a retro bus, and a subway cart. They’re each priced at $17.95 and would make a perfect stocking stuffer.
Some other standout items include a TTC pillow, a really cute mug, a holiday tote, a touque, and a poster.
If you want to start their love for the TTC young, there’s a wooden subway car (coming soon) for the toddler in your life.
Outside of the holiday merchandise, there’s also a year-round line of apparel and accessories you can purchase. The T-shirts and sweaters are pretty cool, but the station tile scarves really scream “I love my daily commute.”
Don’t forget to declare your love for the TTC this holiday season, Toronto.
