Toronto Raptors & Leafs are throwing playoff tailgate parties & here’s how to get in

Go Toronto Go! As the Maple Leafs snag a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Raptors push to secure a spot in theirs, fans can cheer on their favourite teams at tailgate parties coming back to the Maple Leaf Square this April.

Mark your calendars because it’s time to party. The first tailgate will begin on April 11 as the Raptors face off against the Chicago Bulls and it will continue during the NBA Play-In Tournament until April  14 as the team aims to score a spot in the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

Hockey fans can catch all of the excitement of the Leafs at the Maple Leafs Tailgates presented by Scotiabank following the end of the NHL regular season on April 14, according to the MLSE.

For those who have yet to experience a tailgate party, fans can expect on-stage programming with special guests, a massive screen to catch the game, giveaways, a live DJ and so much more.

You’ll have to register online for a free mobile pass in order to get into the tailgates. These can be found only on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors apps so be sure to make some space on your phone to download the app if you don’t already have it.

Some important things to note, the passes will be available a day before each game and fans can get their hands on a maximum of four passes per person, per game.

Gates to Maple Leaf Square open two hours ahead of each game and close at the end of the second intermission for the Maple Leafs and at the end of the third quarter for Raptors, according to the MLSE.

And don’t worry, Real Sports will have food and drink stations within the tailgate space and Real Sports Apparel will have a pop-up spot too – no cash.

Now, who’s ready to party?
