The Toronto Raptors are hosting a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for a good cause! If you love to play basketball and want a chance to attend then here’s everything you need to know about the Raptors for Research basketball tournament.

According to the Raptors for Research website, “Toronto’s premier 3-on-3 basketball experience, in partnership with the Toronto Raptors, is back with higher stakes.”

Players of all skill sets are hitting the court to play and each team has to reach the $2,500 minimum fundraising goal to live out the ultimate game-day experience, with proceeds in support of Sinai Health’s Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute.

The tournament’s top four teams on game day will earn a chance to compete for the title at the OVO Athletic Centre where Raptors practice.

Some of the other prizes that teams can win include Raptors tickets with seating in the Leafs Alumni Lounge, custom “champions” merch and apparel and tickets to join Superfan Nav Bhatia court-side as his +1 for a Raptors home game.

The tournament will take place on March 3rd, 2024 at the Trio Sportsplex & Event Centre with doors opening at 8:00 AM, tip-off at 9:00 AM and the tournament winners scheduled to be announced at 2:30 PM.

While sign-up to play in the tournament is closed, you can grab tickets to attend as a spectator! Tickets are $25 a person and can be purchased here.
