Movies Under the Stars: This Toronto park is showing FREE newly released movies

Downsview Park is bringing back its outdoor movies series, Movies Under the Stars next month and you can watch some of the best new releases for free, in Toronto. You read that right.

Starting this June 24th, and for three nights this summer, the popular movie program will take place lakeside, in between the Orchard Pavilion and the Lake inside Downsview Park.

The 8th annual series is a beloved movie experience that encourages everyone to enjoy a movie, picnic-style, with their favourite group of people.

The show will start at dusk, at about 9 PM, but guests are asked to arrive an hour early to get a good spot.

At the time of writing, there are only two movies that will be played on separate dates, in French and English.

Registration has already begun for the two flicks, Kung Fu Panda 4 and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
