This festival coming to Toronto is for all things horror films

Horror isn’t just for October! One thing I feel like most people don’t know about me is my deep love for all things scary, true crime and mystery. If you’re anything like me, you’ve seen most of the big horror films, which is why indie films are so awesome. Toronto Indie Horror Festival showcases independent horror movies from around Canada and the world – the perfect way to get your fix in and discover pieces you’ve never seen before.

“From local short films to international found footage movies, Toronto Indie Horror Festival strives to bring frightful features to independent film lovers in the GTA,” shares Toronto Indie Horror Fest.

The festival has been happening since 2016, with this year’s festivities running from April 1 to 4, 2025. The screenings will be held at Eyesore Cinema, located at Dufferin and Bloor Street West.

Some of the film titles you can start looking into that will play at this year’s fest include:

  • Last Tape
  • The Containment
  • The Internet of Everything
  • Nightfall – A Paranormal Investigation
  • The Witness
  • First & Last
  • Nightcap
  • Custom
  • Carter
  • ATLS
  • Scam

Tickets start at $10, with all access festival passes available for $50.

See you there, horror lovers!
