Blue Jays to serve up $1 hot dogs at all-new Rogers Centre this season

Let’s play ball! The Toronto Blue Jays have announced their schedule for the 2023 season and there is so much to look forward to.

The Blue Jays will invite fans to their newly-renovated ballpark for the first time on April 11th, 2023, for the home opener.

Fans will finally get to experience the first phase of the new-and-improved Rogers Centre, which is undergoing a $300 million makeover.

This season, the stadium will unveil the Outfield District, where live entertainment will be held on every game day.

Outfield District will be home to several exciting food and drink concepts, including the Corona Rooftop Patio, Park Social, The Catch Bar, and The Stop.

Also new to the Rogers Centre this season is Schneiders Porch, a new hot dog headquarters located in right field at the 200 level.

Schneiders Porch will offer an “elevated hot dog experience” with panoramic ballpark views, as well as Loonie Hot Dog nights every Tuesday home game starting on April 25th.

Yes, that means the Blue Jays’ longstanding tradition of tasty hot dogs for $1 will continue!

There will be 23 new and returning themed days hosted by the Jays throughout the season.

That includes special events, activities, and giveaways on Canada Day, Pride Weekend, Harry Potter Day, Fan Appreciation Weekend, and more.

According to the team, the Rogers Centre reno focuses on “modernizing the fan experience” and building “world-class” facilities for the players.

The work will be phased over two or three offseasons, and the final leg of construction will take place during the 2023 offseason.

Needless to say, it’s an exciting time to be a Toronto Blue Jays fan!
