These startup companies were just named the best in Canada & most of them are hiring now

Building something from the ground up is no easy task – but some entrepreneurs have mastered the art of it. Even now, in times of uncertainty, ambitious Canadians are paving their own way – but there are a few who have really set themselves apart.

This week, LinkedIn their picks for the Top 15 Startups in Canada and you’re definitely going to want to keep some of them on your radar!

Meant to be a resource for jobseekers and innovators, this particular collection is compiled mainly of software development, IT companies, financial aids and consumer services – further proving that the future is online.

So how exactly did they determine who made the list?

Well according to their report, they looked at their data across several pillars. These included employment growth, engagement, job interest and attraction of top talent.

In order to be eligible companies have to be fully independent, privately held, have 50 or more full-time employees and be at least 7 years or younger.

With this in mind, the following were named the best in the country:

2. Ada – Toronto (Founded in 2016)
3. Fable – Toronto (Founded in 2018)
4. Shakepay – Montreal (Founded in 2015)
5. ApplyBoard – Kitchener (Founded in 2015)
6. BenchSci – Toronto (Founded in 2015)
7. Cohere – Toronto (Founded in 2019)
8. Certn – Victoria (Founded in 2016)
9. Drop – Toronto (Founded in 2015)
10. Dapper Labs – Vancouver (Founded in 2018)
11. Snapcommerce – Toronto (Founded in 2016)
12. Manifest Climate – Toronto (Founded in 2015)
13. Irwin – Toronto – (Founded in 2017)
14. TealBook – Toronto (Founded in 2015)
15. Klue – Vancouver (Founded in 2015)
