Music festival season will soon be in full swing in Toronto, and this summer, the city will get to experience Canada’s premier Indigenous music festival known as Tkaronto Music Festival.
In celebration of National Indigenous Month, a lineup of renowned Indigenous artists will be taking centre stage in the heart of Toronto.
The four-day festival will feature musical performances, cultural workshops, food, and kid-friendly programming.
The event is completely free to attend, with family-friendly programming during the day and live DJ dance parties at night.
Festivities begin on National Indigenous People’s Day on June 21st with a cultural kickoff featuring music and food.

The following three days of the festival will feature a lineup of performers as well as morning workshops and inspiring shows.
Some of the featured Indigenous artists include OMBIGIIZI, Julian Taylor, Susan Aglukark, Amanda Rheume, Classic Roots, Nimkii Osawamick, and The Ra11n.
June marks the official start of outdoor festival season in the city and there are so many events to check out.
