You can party on a floating Hawaiian tiki bar at Wasaga Beach this spring

If floating on the water in a tropical atmosphere sounds like your ideal afternoon, you won’t have to leave Ontario’s borders to get the full experience this spring. Tiki Tours are returning to the waters of Wasaga Beach this May and you can set sail on your very own Hawaiian-style hut, complete with a bartender serving up tropical cocktails.

The Wasaga Tiki Tours can be rented out for groups of up to 12 people (and dogs!) at a time. The fully licensed bars on board are completely cashless and there are snacks and coffee you can purchase as well.

All trips are two hours long and the rates vary depending on the day of the week — $80 per person from Monday to Thursday and $90 per person from Friday to Sunday. However, there are also all-day rates if you want to spend more time on the water.

You can charter a Tiki boat for any and all occasions, including sunset cruises, bachelorette parties, birthdays, and even weddings (yup, minister and all).

The boats feature Bluetooth stereo systems so you can bump your own tunes if you want to. There’s even a washroom at the back of the vessel so you don’t have to hold it until you disembark.

Passengers are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring some sun protection, bug spray, and their own food. The boats can be booked in advance or via walk-up depending on availability.

Wasaga isn’t the only place you can set sail from in Ontario either. You can rent a Tiki boat at Hull Marina and float down the Ottawa River.

Bookings are now open starting on May 20th, 2022. Time to bust out your Hawaiian shirt and start counting down the days!
