This picnic on a sailboat experience is the perfect Toronto date idea

The picnic dining and date trend has really taken the world and Canada by storm. One of the latest offerings of this sort is with PicSnic, a picnic dining service offering traditional Italian cuisine in downtown Toronto. But this isn’t just any old picnic because instead of lounging in the grass you’ll be cruising the high seas (Lake Ontario) on a boat.

PicSnic has a new dining experience that allows you to enjoy a 22-foot sailboat and food while cruising for up to 2 hours around Toronto. You can choose from three different menus before you book your sail depending on if you eat everything or are vegan or vegetarian. Each menu is three courses with an appetizer, main, and dessert, so you definitely won’t be riding the waves on an empty stomach.

Then you can sit back and relax while you take in the views during your sail.

In case you were wondering, no, you do not have to drive the boat. Rather you will be under the direction of captain Alex so that you can enjoy the experience without worrying about learning how to steer. And the meet-up location is located conveniently at Jack Layton Ferry Terminal in downtown Toronto. It’s all designed perfectly to ensure your date is smooth sailing…literally.

If you’d like to book a Toronto sailboat picnic experience with PicSnic it’ll cost you $350 and is only available from Wednesday to Friday. So be sure to get online and book those reservations as we have a feeling this will become a super popular summer date choice. Of course, if you end up going for a sail let us know what you think and tag us in any pics that you take.
