We are now THIS (our thumb and index finger are almost touching) close to the holidays. Don’t get us wrong, we are all siked. But we are also going into somewhat of a spiral over the few names that we still haven’t crossed off our holiday gift list. The good news is that we just found the gift that’s awesome, quick and easy, all at once. And we have Muskoka Brewery’s Moonlight Kettle Series to thank for it.
For the uninitiated, the series is a unique program from one of Ontario’s best-known breweries featuring a very fun twist. Each month, one of Muskoka’s master brewers pairs up with two employees from the company, and together, they create a whole new beer, complete with its own name.

The Moonlight Kettle Series kicked off in 2015 and has been going strong ever since, creating everything from IPAs to Pilsners to Sours, often with never-before-used ingredients. Grapefruit Sparkling Ale? Sure! A saison with pinot noir pomace? That’s music to our ears!
The absolute best part is that these delicious creations are even easier to grab. Of course, they are available at the Muskoka Brewery. But there’s an even easier way to get your hands on them. The Muskoka Beer Club will deliver a 4-pack of that month’s brew straight to your door, and you can buy subscriptions for 3 months, 6 months, or even a whole damn year!
Call us crazy but looks like we found our fix for all our holiday gifting (and entertaining, if you plan to impress) troubles. Of course, we think that a full year of refreshing new beer would be desirable to anyone and everyone, but especially to the person in your life who never seems to have the same label in their fridge twice.
