Go ahead, admit it! You’re currently in a love-hate relationship with your home and your sweats. Frankly, we are too. As much as we love them both, there’s no way in hell we can handle one more weekend dining-in. All we want to do now is go out with friends and family and enjoy an utterly delicious meal that is prettily plated and served in a gram-worthy setting. Lucky for us (you included), we have just the place for it- Park by Sidewalk

The newest offering from the folks at Park by Sidewalk Citizen, is not a mere restaurant but a whole experience; an experience that’s absolutely unmissable. And we are about to tell you why.

Let’s start with the basics, the menu. Park offers a very creative, Israeli-meets-Canadian menu that boasts of bold flavours, savoury spices and fresh, seasonal ingredients including plenty of meats, fish and vegetables charred on a charcoal grill. The artfully designed Brunch and Dinner menus by Chef Scott Mckay pair perfectly with their wine selection curated by Thomas Dhalgren. If you’re more of a cocktail or a beer person, they’ve still got you covered.

With an interesting and extensive food and drinks menu, you’d think the meal is the main event. Well, you’d be only partly right.

The setting, both inside and out, is what makes the Park experience truly delightful. Aptly named Park, the restaurant is set in the middle of the gorgeous Memorial Park in Beltline. While the patio gives you soothing green views of the Memorial Park set against the skyline beyond, the inside, a locally designed and built, award-winning Solarium, makes sure that you’re living the “park” experience to the fullest. This solarium is also a great space to hold a private event, and has already been a go-to venue for many parties and weddings. If wedding bells or celebrations are in your future, make sure to reach out to them via email!

Be it brunch with the gals, a dinner date with your significant other, a family meal, or a grand birthday or wedding celebration, Park by Sidewalk has to be your next eating-out experience. You might also want to check out their new Happy Hour menu because well, spirits taste best when you get them for less. Right!
