This dazzling BC forest lights up with one of Canada’s most magical displays every year

Think you can handle one of the most spectacular holiday lights displays in the world? Then it’s time to grab your most festive friends and head on over to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver! Believe us, you haven’t truly felt the holly jolly spirit till you’ve admired twinkling lights and Christmas trees 110 feet above the forest floor.

On from Tuesday, December 1, 2020 to Sunday, January 3, 2021, Capilano’s ‘Canyon Lights’ has several different features to enjoy. While the suspension bridge, rainforest and Capilano River are ablaze with lights, Treetops Adventure– AKA the 8 tallest Christmas trees in the world– are also lit from top to bottom. But that’s not all!

The park also has “Arc de Lumina”, a light tunnel that’s designed to mesmerize even the toughest Scrooge on Cliffwalk. Plus, the Snowy Owl Prowl scavenger hunt is perfect if you’re looking for a more fam-friendly outing.

Whether you go with your kids, your significant other, your best friends or just solo (no judgment!), this is one lights fest you won’t forget. What’s more, partial proceeds from admissions will be donated to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund to help support burn survivors and their families.

Of course, Capilano’s made a few operational changes to ensure the health and safety of visitors and staff in a COVID world. Tickets and annual passes will only be available for pre-purchase online for a specific date and time to limit contact, so head to their site to guarantee your spot. We’ll see you under the sparkly lights!

CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE’S CANYON LIGHTS
