This brand new H&M in Metro Van is the first of its kind in BC

As more and more names join the already amazing roster at The Amazing Brentwood, one has got us extra excited. Turns out, another iconic Swedish brand has been making furniture and home goods for over a decade, and they’re finally ready to reveal it in BC.

Already present in Asia, Europe, and even other parts of Canada, the H&M Home brand has proven itself as a leading name when it comes to great value and design. But, we wouldn’t expect anything more from a brand that has had its finger on the pulse for decades.

But maybe more important than the brand’s style success is their commitment to the future. Once a leading name in the world of fast fashion, H&M has made significant changes to how it operates, from sourcing its textiles to introducing garment recycling programs. Seriously, we can’t help but feel like we’re looking at a whole new company.

And luckily, this extends to the H&M Home collection as well. While shopping, just look for the ‘Conscious’ tag and feel good knowing that it was created with at least 50% sustainably sourced materials. We have to admit they’re pretty cool materials too- pineapple leaves, hemp, and shoreline waste have all been used for past collections.

This initiative (and many more) is one of the reasons why H&M was actually ranked the most transparent large fashion brand in the world in 2020, and above names like Patagonia and Adidas.

So, whether you’re shopping online or in-store for fashion and home goods this summer, make sure to check out the brand new H&M coming to the Amazing Brentwood!
