This animal was just spotted at Mount Rainier for the first time in over 100 years!

It’s official, 2020 is the year for funky stuff to happen. But not all of it has to be bad, in fact, something great is happening at Mount Rainier right now. And that is the return of Wolverines! But sadly they’re the animals, not Hugh Jackman.

That being said, this is actually a really big deal. Because Wolverines have not been spotted at Mount Rainier in more than 100 years. So the discovery of “Joni” and her two babies was a very exciting one for the scientists of the Cascades Carnivore Project.
