From the start of Granville Island’s first free Christmas festival to the official start of the season at Whistler Blackcomb, here are 10 of the best things to do around Vancouver this weekend (November 25-27).

In case you’re looking for another Christmas market to add to your holiday itinerary, look no further than this free Christmas festival on Granville Island, hosted by The Vancouver Fish Company. And if you get a little hungry, there are always Nutella waffles to snack on.

Festival of Lights at VanDusen

IndieFest 2022

It’s the last few days of this year’s IndieFest, which brings together a plethora of emerging artists to encourage collective healing and inspire a new generation of storytelling. This weekend, you can check out the Canadian premiere of Ange’s Bone, a Pulitzer Prize-winning opera exploring the implications of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, which are often overlooked in Canada. The opera will be performed from November 25th to 27th at the Annex Theatre.

Dunbar Holiday Craft Fair & Festive Tree Lighting

The annual Dunbar Holiday Craft Fair is home to over 140 local artisans every year with thousands of handmade crafts to choose from – so you definitely won’t run out of options!
