Celebrating Nowruz 

From 6:30 to 9:30 on Saturday, March 16th, the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is celebrating Nowruz (Persian New Year) and the start of spring with a family-friendly night of refreshments, live music, dance, live science demos, and a special presentation on the history of Nowruz in the Planetarium Star Theatre.

St. Patrick’s Day Party with Paddy Waggin’ 

Vancouver’s favorite Celtpunk band Paddy Waggin’ is pulling up to Lana Lou’s for a night of traditional Irish music, Celtic punk, and PW originals. There will also be a tribute to St. MacGowan with tons of Pogues tunes.

Saint Patrick’s Day at Vancouver Odd Fellows

The historic Vancouver Odd Fellows Hall is hosting a night of Irish entertainment and dancing on Saturday, March 18th, as a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish foundation. The event will commence at 7 pm and include live music by Canada’s leading Celtic Folk rock band, Blackthorn, as well as the Watt Irish Dancers.
