The beloved novel Life of Pi is coming to a stage near you!

Oh, and it’s free to attend! The block party will run Saturday and Sunday along Pape between Mortimer and Gamble Avenue.

The Toronto Waterfront Festival at Sugar Beach is back and this year there’s a canine competition series!

Cineplex theatres, The Rec Room, and Playdium are hosting a morning of free movies and gaming with cheap concessions.
The funds from the special day go to to BGC Canada (formerly Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada), “to support the organization’s vital programs and services that empower Canada’s next generation.”
Concessions will be discounted to $3 and movies will run for free from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
