North America’s largest Ukrainian festival is taking to Toronto this weekend.

Life of Pi

The beloved novel Life of Pi is coming to a stage near you!

The theatrical adaptation of the story is being put on by Mirvish Productions and shows will be running all weekend long.

Roncesvalles Polish Festival 

From the biggest Ukrainian festival in North America to the biggest Polish festival!

Polish Fest is running Saturday and Sunday and you guessed it – the food will be amazing and the traditional entertainment will be outstanding!

Pape Village Block Party

The website for the Pape Village Block Party says it best: “Live music filling the air, the aroma of delicious food wafting from local restaurants, the gleam of classic cars, and the happy squeals of kids bouncing in the fun zone.”

Oh, and it’s free to attend! The block party will run Saturday and Sunday along Pape between Mortimer and Gamble Avenue.

Relish the Foodie Event

This two-day, free-to-attend, food-themed gathering will feature food trucks, artisanal market vendors and even food-themed workshops.

Toronto Waterfront Festival 

The Toronto Waterfront Festival at Sugar Beach is back and this year there’s a canine competition series!

Watch pups dive into the water while you snack on delicious food – does it get any better than that?

Cineplex Community Day

Cineplex theatres, The Rec Room, and Playdium are hosting a morning of free movies and gaming with cheap concessions.

The funds from the special day go to to BGC Canada (formerly Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada), “to support the organization’s vital programs and services that empower Canada’s next generation.”

Concessions will be discounted to $3 and movies will run for free from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Jon Pardi concert

Grab your cowboy boots and head over to Bud Stage!

Country singer Jon Pardi is playing on Saturday and tickets are still available.

Ontario Artisan & Vintage Market

Support and shop from over 40 incredible local artists and makers, snack on local bites and even enjoy some adult beverages!

This artisan and vintage market at Evergreen Brick Works will have a little of everything open from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Sunday.
