This weekend in Edmonton is bringing a whole load of exciting things to do, including K-pop conventions, corn mazes, and local art walks.
No matter what your vibe is, we’ve got an event you’re sure to enjoy. There are options for solo dates, get-togethers with friends and family, and even some date night ideas. As we head into fall, more spooky events and autumnal activities are being added to the mix.
If you’re familiar with Fort Edmonton Park‘s Where Dark Things Dwell, its highly anticipated sequel has arrived.
Teams of four will work together in this escape “room” experience to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and complete challenges throughout the park’s 1885 Street, racing to break a mysterious curse before time runs out.
This is the last weekend to experience this game in 2026.

This corn maze sits west of Edmonton and features outdoorsy, family-friendly fun from August to October. Complete with farm animals, spud gun launches, mini golf, a popular sunflower stroll, photo opportunities, and a pumpkin patch coming this fall, this experience truly offers it all.

Purple City Music Festival is back in Edmonton this September with over 125 artists taking over nine stages located throughout the downtown core. This multi-venue musical experience is dedicated to showcasing, as stated by Purple City, “new sounds from the global underground.”

For three days this September, the Strathearn Art Walk will be taking over Edmonton before the summer wraps itself up. This free, family-friendly event focuses on bringing the community together by celebrating emerging — as well as professional — artists and musicians.

West Edmonton Mall and YEGKPOP are coming together this September to bring the inaugural KosmoCon K-pop Convention to the city. This weekend will focus on all things K-pop, from unique local vendors and interactive brand experiences to random play dance, choreography sessions, and dance competitions.

This market in Old Strathcona has been around for ages, and it’s Edmonton’s premier farmers market. Being the original year-rounder, this place offers the best locally grown and made goods as well as trinkets you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

Queen Mary’s Market is located in the heart of Edmonton and offers over 130 vendors, as well as five individual restaurants within the building. This market features strong local vendors with a selection of antiques, rare collectibles, local produce, artisanal goods, and services.

From June until September, the downtown streets will be bursting with electric energy, all in the name of community. Live music, patio vibes, and local businesses are what this Summer Block Party series is all about. You won’t want to miss out on these weekends, because it’s going to be a blast, for sure.

In honour of Lush opening its doors to its new Southgate Centre location, it will be holding a celebration featuring live caricature drawings, complimentary bath bomb pressing and more in-store surprises.

This is Edmonton’s largest and longest-standing outdoor market, offering over 200 vendors and a wonderful variety of handmade goods and locally produced treats. It’s a great community-driven market that’s perfect for those looking to get closer to bakers, chefs, artisans, and more.
