Lavender Wild Festival

Festival season has arrived and Toronto has a new one to look forward to this weekend.

Lavender Wild will debut in the city for the first time this Sunday, just in time for the start of Pride Month.

This one-day, all-ages festival will showcase a diverse range of 2SLGBTQ+ artists, musicians, and vendors at Toronto’s waterfront concert venue, RBC Echo Beach.

A free music festival and South Asian celebration is coming to the city!

You can relive childhood memories and reach exciting new heights at this two-day kite festival coming to Brampton this weekend.

Grab your trusty kite and head to the Brampton KiteFest on June 3rd and 4th at the Brampton Fairgrounds.

The sky will be filled with colourful kites all of shapes and sizes as the festival celebrates nine years of kite-flying fun.

Free live jazz in Trinity Square

Music lovers, you’re in for a treat! A summer concert series with free live jazz shows is taking place in Toronto.

Every weekend from now until Labour Day, visitors can enjoy free, live, outdoor jazz performances in the charming Distillery District.

The concert series will be “packed with a lineup of top jazz talent,” and is curated by Grammy award-winning Music Director Kevin Ray Clark.

The Colourway

A whimsical new walkway has popped up in Toronto. The Colourway is a series of rainbow arches made out of pool noodles, and that’s just the beginning of what makes this installation so cool.

For the next several weeks, the installation will act as a hub for free events and giveaways, with weekly live concerts, freebies, and fun vibes.

Every Saturday in June, a Golden Ticket Hunt will grant visitors the chance to hunt for a special envelope at participating businesses for the chance to win a prize.

Cirque du Soleil: KOOZA

The Big Top is officially back. Cirque du Soleil has returned to Toronto with one of its most successful touring shows, called KOOZA.

KOOZA “combines acrobatic performance and the art of clowning, while exploring fear, identity, recognition, and power,” according to the description.

The highlights of the show include Hoops Manipulation, Double Highwire, the Skeleton Dance, and the famous Wheel of Death, an “enormous spinning contraption” that always has the audience on the edge of their seats.
